| Michel Gensollen has been trained as an economist
and an engineer in telecommunications (ENST Paris). From 1991 to 1996,
he was in charge of the Economic Studies Department of France
Telecom, where he set up the analysis and cost evaluations used in
the regulatory framework. At the time, his main publications bore on network
economics and regulation ("L'économie des télécommunications : ouverture
et réglementation'', Economica, 1992, with Nicolas
Curien). From 1997 to 2000, he was Senior Vice President in charge
of the Strategic Studies Department. He worked on the new business
models triggered by the development of the Internet and new telecommunications
technologies. His recent publications focus on Internet, electronic commerce,
network-based firms, reorganisation of markets and information economy.
He is currently working at the EGSH (Economie, Gestion et Sciences Humaines)
department at ENST Paris. |
